- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan is soliciting for a Shore Power Connector Assembly. This solicitation is a Sole Source requirement to the manufacturer Cooper Industries, Crouse Hinds Div, Crouse-Hinds Molded Products but will be competed equally among distributors. The Power Connector Assembly includes: Plug Assembly (JOY X8999-2, MIP/N: M24368-1-002) AND CABLE (THOF-500, 3-CONDUCTOR(0.960 X3), 505.4000MCM, 3.1000? DIA X 10FT LENGTH. FOB Destination to Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin Tracy, CA. The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 May 2005 with a closing date of 20 May 2005. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments. No telephone or fax request for the solicitation will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the solicitation from the NECO website. Telephone and facsimile requests will not be honored. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
