- ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane.? Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for Program Management Support, Systems Engineering including Design, Analysis, Prototype Manufacture, Logistics Analysis, Engineering Development Model Fabrication and Logistics Support related to Directed Energy User Scrutiny Equipment (DEUSE), Laser Augmented Ship Self-Defense and Ultra Fast Laser System Development in accordance with the Government Statement of Work. This solicitation will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. An offer will be solicited from Raytheon Company, 10606 7th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730-0543. This requirement is anticipated to result in cost plus fixed fee contract for a period of two years. The contractor shall be required to hold a Secret facility clearance. This solicitation will be av! ailable on or about 2 June 2005 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil.supply/announce.htm.
