- The US Geological Survey intends to award a sole-source order to contract to Stratagene/ Biocrest Manufacturing of Cedar Creek, TX for an Mx3005P Real-Time quantitative PCR System with a notebook computer. They are the only known source that can provide the hardware and software an item that meets the minimum needs of the USGS. The proposed contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Menlo Park, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer.
