Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with R&R Guide Service, 3705 Arctic Blvd. # 2059, Anchorage, Alaska 99503 for Food and Lodging for 6 personnel in Chulista, and 2 people at Donlin Creek Alaska for approximately 25 days 06/06/2005 through 07/01/2004. Competition is restricted due to the remote location of the camps. The anticipated Award date is April 25, 2005. These camps must have the capability to set up fuel sites and accommodate the use of helicopters. The proposed contract action is for services or supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify the interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer. The food and lodging must be within the Alaska Per Diem rate of $135.00 per day per person. The food must be adequate, reasonable, and nutritious.
