- The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command intends to award a sole source contract to United Defense, L.P., for the remanufacture of 225 each M2A3 vehicles, 156 each M3A3 vehicles, 53 each A3 BFIST vehicles, 50 each M2A2 ODS vehicles, 33 eac h M7 BFIST vehicles, 75 each M3A2 ODS conversion kits and 25 each M2A2 ODS conversion kits. FOB: Origin. Authority: 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) entitled Only One Responsible Source. See Note 22. Subcontracting opportunities may exist with the prime contracto r subsequent to award.
