- The South Dakota National Guard intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed lump sum contract for construction services of a project entitled Construct Squadron Operations Facility, PN: LUXC 029121. Location of the pr oject is at the South Dakota Air National Guard, Joe Foss Field, 1201 West Algonquin St, Sioux Falls, SD. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all labor, equipment and material for the construction of a new 27,500 SF facility including pavements, cur b and gutter, fencing and miscellaneous security systems. Demolition shall include: the existing Squadron Operations, associated pavements and adjacent storage facility. Site work to include: earthwork, concrete, asphalt, utilities and landscaping. Gene ral construction to include: demolition, footings, slab-on-grade, CMU, brick veneer, insulation, fully-adhered roofing system, aluminum entrances, doors and windows, exterior metals and interior finishes. Mechanical work to include: demolition, plumbing,H VAC with DDC temperature controls. Electrical work to include: exterior distribution, interior power, lighting, communications systems, grounding, and fire alarm systems, and other related security related specialized systems. Construction services shall comply with the specifications and requirements contained in the solicitation/award documents. Contract performance period for construction services will be for the number of calendar days as listed in the solicitation/award documents. IAW FAR 36.204, th e estimated price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The contract will be awarded under Source Selection procedures specified in the solicitation. This project is being procured on an unrestricted basis. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)is 1542. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236210. The size standard for small businesses is $28.5 million annual receipt for the past 3 years. Solicitation documents will be available o/a 24 Jun 05. A pre-proposal conference/site visi t date/time will be listed in the solicitation document. Interested contractors and their potential subcontractors are encouraged to attend. The solicitation documents, all amendments, etc. will be available at the Internet address http://sdguard.ngb.army. mil; then select Contract Solicitations. All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at the http://sdguard.ngb.army.mil website. If potential contractor has difficulty downloading the initial solicitation documents they can provide the Contracting Officer with written request for a compact disc (CD) containing the projects initial solicitation documents. The written request must be e-mailed to the Contracting Officer or faxed to 605/737-6752 marked Attn: P. Zolnowsky. Verbal requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. The potential contractor is responsible to acquire all other solicitation related documents from the website. It is the potential contractors responsibility to print the project documents posted at the sdguard website and/or on the compact disc. There is no cost for the CD; number of CDs available are limited and shall be issued on a first requested, first served basis. Prime Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
