Description

Defense Contracting Command -Washington intends to award a sole source to Resource Consultants,Inc IAW FAR 6.302-1 (b)(iii), services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued pro vision of highly specialized services... The contractor will perform a level of effort to support the DRPM AAA acquisition logistics and life cycle support efforts by assisting with development of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) approach. The SCM effort w ill focus on providing SCM analysis to include initial item introduction, Federal Supply System registration, inter-service supply support of common Depot Level Repairables (DLRs), developing strategies for the implementation of EFV to be processes that r equire interface with USMC legacy and logistics modernization systems and identifying/defining appropriate SCM Performance Based Logistics (PBL) metrics. Along with the SCM efforts, the contractor will map out the as is process for maintenance, Total Asse t Visibility, and System Readiness and develop strategies for the implementation of the EFV to be process. The contractor will also research life cycle support strategies from various Industry and DoD services for applicability to the Expeditionary Fighti ng Vehicle (EFV) program.
