- 5-12-09 The buyer has been changed to Charley Julian, the estimated value has been changed from 5M -10M and the NAIC to 493110 ******************************************************************* Pre-Solicitation Synopsis (Not a Solicitation Issue) This is a presolicitation notice as defined under FAR 5.201 and in accordance with FAR 5.203. The United States Air Force, 88 Air Base Wing Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about April 28, 2005 with a closing date of May 30, 2005 at 4:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time. NOTE: This requirement was listed in the Sources Sought Synopsis as Solicitation FA8601-05-R0006 with the NAIC 561110 which is changed to FA8601-05- R0038 with the NAIC 493110. All essential elements of the requirement remain the same. Attached to this presolicitation notice is the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Draft Sections L + M for your review and comments. Please provide comments NLT April 29, 2005 via e-mail to karen.schneder@wpafb.aaf.mil. The RFP will be for service support of the Logistics Materiel Control Activity (LMCA) in the Air Force Research Laboratories. This support includes the management, control and distribution of required non-standard material, customer supprt, resolution of scheduling conflicts plus the processing of supply and equipment requisitions, hazardous material tracking and handling. The Government anticipates a competitive acquisition for the award of a basic contract with four one-year option periods. This RFP will be a 100% small business setaside, as defined in FAR 19.501, conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15, - Contracting by Negotiation. After the release date of May 2, 2005, interested parties may access the RFP either on the PIXS website or the Federal Business Opportunities website.
