Description

The VA Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida intends to negotiate sole source with Mr. Larry Deal to provide Advisory and Assistance Services to the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 Director, Medical Center Directors located within VISN 8, and other VISN staff to facilitate, guide and train the Orlando Steering Committee (OSC) in the identification of critical aspects of the organization development process and create a roadmap for the VISN to follow in the establishment of a new hospital to be located in Orlando, Florida. The contract will be for a one year period, beginning with the notice of award. NAICS code #541611 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. However, all proposals received on or before 4:30 PM, EST, May 27, 2005, will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is on or before June 6, 2005. Faxed or telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
