- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41804-0119-5, for the provision of various bread products for the United States Penitentiary located in Terra Haute, Indiana. The contract period shall commence on October 1, 2005 and expire on September 30, 2006. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: (1) 58,000 loaves of white bread (2) 58,000 loaves of Wheat Bread, (3) 169,200 Hamburger Buns, (4) 169,200 Hotdog Buns; (5) 80,000 Dinner Rolls, (6) 40,000 English Muffins (7) 162,000 Hoagie Rolls (8) 9,000 loaves of Kosher/Pareve Wheat Bread (9) 15,000 loaves Texas Toast. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 20, 2005, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 20, 2005.
