- Notice of Intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Oregon State University, College of Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences for NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to provide support for the development of an Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) model for data intergration, distribution, interaction and development. NMFS is working regionally to develop an Intergrated Pacific Coast Ocean Observing System, (PaCOOS) for the California Current Large Marine Ecosystem. The system will provide information needed for the management of fishery resources, protected marine mannals, marine birds, and turtles, and to forecast the ecosystem consequences of fisheries removals, environmental variability and climate change. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000
