Description
This solicitation is a formal request for proposal (RFP) for multiple NSNs in FSC 6850 and 9150. It is anticipated that split awards may be made. The resultant contract(s) will be firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract(s) with a two-year base period and three one-year option periods. Evaluation: Groupings of NSNs (like items) have been identified consisting of individual line items. Contractors may quote on entire groups or on as many NSNs as they have the capability to perform. The contract specialist will separately evaluate and award each group rather than evaluate and award on a per line item basis. Assuming that one or more offer is received for each group, the contract specialist will evaluate the offers on the basis of the Total Group Price (TGP). The TGP is the sum of the individual line item prices for the total contract period. The individual line item price is the sum of the unit price multiplied by the estimated annual demand quantity for each contract period. The evaluated price will also include any other price evaluation factors identified elsewhere in the solicitation (e.g. first article costs). The items included in this solicitation shall be manufactured in accordance with Government technical data packages, and specifications. Technical data can be obtained using a combination of the websites found below. Access to the websites may require registration. Contractors are strongly encouraged to register prior to release of the solicitation if they have not already done so. Military Specifications (MIL-SPEC) and Federal Specifications (FED-SPEC) can be downloaded from the following websites: http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/ http://dodssp.daps.dla.mil/ The anticipated opening date of the RFP is June 1, 2005. The RFP can be downloaded from the following website on and after the opening date specified in the RFP. http://www2.dscr.dla.mil/externalweb/userweb/kd/. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF.)
