- Description
- The US Coast Guard anticipates solicitation and award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to purchase a self-contained, diesel-electric Flight Line Air Conditioning/Heating Unit, used for cooling/heating Coast Guard aircraft, Brand Name ?TLD America PN#ACE 302-H-CUP-MIL? or Equal including a two year warranty. The salient physical and functional characteristics to meet the Brand Name or Equal requirement will provided in the Solicitation document. The Solicitation HSCG38-05-Q-500015 will be issued AFTER this Pre-solicitation Notice?s response date of 24 May 2005 has passed. The Solicitation will issued in Microsoft Word format and will be posted and made available for downloading at this FedBizOpps website. The purchase order will be issued using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The NAICS is 333415 and the size standard is 750 employees. The USCG intends to issue the solicitation as an unrestricted procurement. Contractors are encouraged to register in the FedBizOpps ?Vendor Notification Service? (located on the FedBizOpps homepage) to receive all notices for solicitation HSCG38-05-Q-500015 including the solicitation package. The solicitation can also be requested via email to Denise Hall at dhall@arsc.uscg or faxed to 252-335-6849. Telephone requests will not be honored. A closing date for receipt of offers will be established upon issuance of the solicitation. An anticipated award date has not been established. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date for receipt of offers will be established upon issuance of the Solicitation. Note 12 applies.
