- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its organizational elements currently have a combined copier inventory of approximately 3500 copiers. These machines are located at DHS offices throughout the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. The inventory is comprised of machines from numerous original equipment manufacturers. These copiers have been acquired through a variety of contracting methods including Lease to Own, Best Value Lease, Cost Per Copy, and Direct Purchase. This requirement is to select multiple Contractors to provide new copiers, under an Operating Lease Plan (OLP) or by Purchase, for DHS and its organizational entities through indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts. This requirement is to replace the current inventory as existing agreements expire. Agreements for the current inventory expire in fiscal year 2005 through fiscal year 2009. The Government intends to award multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contracts for DHS and its organizational elements for copier requirements in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of this solicitation. The anticipated RFP post date will be May 19. The deadline for responses to the RFP will be June 6. Attached in advance of the formal solicitation issue date are: Sections B, L & M of the RFP, and the past performance questionnaire. These attachments are provided as ?read aheads?.
