- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to make a sole source procurement with Sercel Incorporated under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other type of supply or services will satisfy the agency requirement. This purchase order will be for line item 0001 Triaxail Land Seismometer, Qty 7 ea, to be delivered 30 days after receipt of order. Only Sercel triaxial seismometers are 100% replacement compatible with our existing seismometers. The electronics driving the seismometers is proprietary. This procurement is being conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures (SAP). This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
