- This is a tree thinning project for the Dixie National Forest. Approximately 570 acres will be thinned. This project is Hub-Zone set aside. There will be two pre-bid meetings. For Bid Item #1, it will be held at the Escalante Ranger District located at 755 West Main, Escalante, Utah on 6/14/05 at 9:00 a.m. For Bid Item #2, it will be held at the Cedar City Ranger District located at 1789 North Wedgewood, Cedar City, Utah on 6/13/05 at 12:00 noon. Interested bidders are encouraged to attend. Please call Dreama Pitman at (801) 975-3445 if you plan on attending. This solicitation will be uploaded to this same website on approximately May 27, 2005. Quotes will be due on June 27, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
