- Description
- Services to perform a Terrestrial Ecological Unit Inventory (TEUI) on lands with the administrative boundary of the Umatilla and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests of Northeastern Oregon. Approximate acreage to be inventoried is 750,000. Work includes correlation and management of spatial and attribute data for previous TEUI on the Umatilla, Wallowa-Whitman and Malheur National Forests. A TEUI is similar in intensity to an Order III Soil Survey and is an integrated, multi-resource inventory of soil, land form, vegetation and lithology. Effort includes correlated data being entered into agency databases. Contract awarded under this solicitation will be a Requirements contract for a base year plus 4 option years with an estimated value of need of $2.0 million over the 5 year period. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about May 25, 2005.
