- The Tongass National Forest is soliciting for offers for the Kosciusko Stewardship project. Primary purposes of this project include second growth commercial timber removal, maintenance of existing roads, and restoration of previously logged over areas. To accomplish these goals, this project combines commercial timber removal from previously logged over areas with road maintenance and thinning activities. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
