Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source three-year requirements contract to Paraflite Incorporated, 5800 Magnolia Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08109-1399 for the procurement of component parts to support the Parachutists Oxygen Systems (PHAOS) and the Special Applications Parachute (SAP), and peripheral support equipment. The items being procured and the approximate quantities (as specified in each individual delivery order) are as follows: 363 each PARIS Canopy and Special Risers (P/N 830055-0X-001), 1, 994 each SOFTAPS round parachute replacement harness (P/N 822310-0), 1, 994 each T-11R reserve parachutes (P/N 822320-0), 1,994 each USL Snaphooks (P/N 11-1-6991-1), 1,994 each T11 Static Lines (P/N 822330-0), thirty-two (32) each PHAOS Masks (P/N 603810-5-Short), 128 each PHAOS Masks (P/N 603810-6-Regular), 128 each PHAOS Masks (P/N 603810-Long), thirty-two (32) each PHAOS Masks (P/N 603810-8 Ex-Long), 320 each PHAOS Bottles! and Regulators (P/N 603200-0), seventy-five (75) each Oxcons (P/N 605400-OX-SYS), six (6) Test Consoles (P/N 607000-0), 320 Pockets (P/N 801265-0), seventy-five (75) each Deployment Cases (P/N 605175-0). The PHAOS and SAP equipment and associated components are only available from Paraflite Incorporated by direction of the Marine Corp Systems Command (MARCORPSYSCOM) Raids and Reconnaissance Program Office. This equipment is part of a highly specialized airborne delivery system, which has undergone extensive testing and qualification under the MARCORPSYSCOM Diving/Parachuting Authority. Each part has been tested to perform to rigid requirements for power consumption, power output, range, depth, altitude, etc. Only those articles, which have been successfully tested, are qualified. Procedures are detailed under Marine Corp Order (MCO) 3500.20A. The objective of this process is to verify that the system provides acceptable levels of safety and mission critical support thr! oughout the system specific operating range thus providing maximum reasonable assurance that the mission can be completed. NAICS Code is 314999. SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. FSC 1670. Numbered Note 22 applies to this announcement. NSWC PC plans on releasing the solicitation electronically only.
