- Description
- The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD, has a requirement for procurement of Nurse Call system maintenance and repair. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity contract with R&S Medical Communications, Inc. under FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however interested parties may submit a capability statement. Sole source determination is based on R&S Medical Communications, Inc. being the only known contractor certified by the manufacturer to perform maintenance and repair to the existing West-Com Nurse Call and PDI Hospital Grade Television systems. The government, for all purposes of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement, will consider all capability statements received in response to this notice. The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received. Notices of intent must be received at: Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington, Attn: Jermaine Hector, Code AQ-12, 1314 Harwood Street, SE, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC 20374, no later than 2:00 pm on 25 May 2005.
