- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Federal Protective Service (FPS) intends to procure the services of a licensed veterinarian to provide medical services for a number of canines housed at FPS for a base period of 12 months with two (2) additional periods of 12 months each. The total contract period of performance is three years. The Government intends to award an indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contract as a result of this solicitation. At a minimum, the contractor will provide medical care to at least 15 canines and a maximum of 30 during the base year plus each option year. This procurement is set-aside only for small business firms having annual gross receipts of $6,000,000.00. All companies submitting proposals for this procurement must have a full production office, at the time this solicitation is posted, located within a fifteen mile radius of Washington, D. C. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 15 days from the date of posting of this announcement. To receive a copy of the RFP, please register online at the Fed Biz Ops website at www.eps.gov. After you register, you will automatically receive an electronic notice that the solicitation is posted on the website. Telephone requests for a copy of the RFP will not be honored. Once the RFP is posted on the Fed Biz Ops website, the closing date for receipt of proposals for this procurement will be 30 days. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-MAR-2005).
