- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: Proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-05-JWS-0001 is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-03. This procurement is for the following: CLIN 1: 64 Mbit/s Data Recorder with 3-slot modular signal Interfacing and choice of media. Full function control and status display integrated as part of the recorder. Chassis needs to be 124mm by 193.5 mm by 318 mm for Data collection Platform interface. Built-in IRIG A, B, & G Time Code Generator. Unit shall have connectors. QTY.8 Ea; CLIN 2: Hard Disk Cartridge, (144 GB) Cartridge needs to be electrically and physically compatible with item 1. QTY.12 Ea; CLIN 3: Video Input Module, 4 Channel. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 4 Ea; CLIN 4: Record Module, DCRSi. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 4 Ea; CLIN 5: Replay Module, DCRSi. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 1 Ea; CLIN 6: PCM Module, 8 Channel merger replay, 20 Mbit/s per channel. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 2 Ea; CLIN 7: Video Replay Module, 2-Channel. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 2 Ea; CLIN 8: PC Cartridge Adapter. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 2. QTY 3 Ea; CLIN 9: Blanking Module. Module must be compatible electrically and physically with item 1. QTY 10 Ea; CLIN 10: Maintenance Agreement, Need multi-year repair with replacement component option pending repair actions. QTY 2 Yrs. This requirement is for the US Air Force, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Please include all requirements on quotations. No partial quotes. No substitutions. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value including past performance, cost and ability to meet service requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not be accepted. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
