- THE SOLICITATION IS TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED TO BE POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE ON OR ABOUT MARCH 14, 2005. The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), PPQ has a requirement for the removal of ALB host trees in Middlesex and Union counties, New Jersey. This is a firm fixed price, requirements, task order contract covering a base year from date of award through September 30, 2005. To date, approximately 1,400 trees in the city of Rahway are scheduled to be removed, chipped, destroyed and disposed of during the months of April through May 2005. Removal will include stumps and all exposed roots to a minimum depth of 9 inches. The host material should be chipped no larger than 5/8 inches and disposed of per approved USDA practices. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this website only. NOTIFICATION WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERORS REGARDNG THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEBSITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. All changes to the presolicitation notice, solicitation or any attachments shall be posted to the website at: www.fedbizopps.gov.
