Description

The National Institutes of Health/NIDA-IRP intends to award a commercial item sole source purchase to Sequenom, Inc.,(manufacturer), 11555 Sorrento Valley Rd., San Diego, CA. 02121-1331. This procurement is for the following item: 10026 chip spotter LT (Samsung) -24(6x4) or 6(2x3) pin array for sample transfer and single pin for calibrant transfer, 96 or 384 MTp, 96 or 384 SpectroCHIP bioarray, 2 MTP's, 2 scout plates, min 6nl, max 30nl, 8minutes, AbGene 384 MTP's. The sole source award to Sequenom, Inc., is based upon the systems compatibility with existing government-owned equipment used in the laboratory. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423490 and Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the requirement and submit a statement of interest which includes; and itemized price, complete product specifications and a proposed delivery date. The interested party?s statement of interest is due on May 20, 2005, 4:30PM. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct any future competitive procurement. Response to this announcement, referencing synopsis number 07-NIDA-IRP-2005, may be submitted in writing to NIDA/IRP, Bldg.
