- Description
- The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service has a requirement for physician and other miscellaneous ambulatory health care services for Contract Health Service (CHS) eligible patients who are referred from an Indian Health Service(IHS)facility. The IHS has limited or in some cases nonexistent specialty health care services. The IHS is seeking to fulfill these needs by means of contractual agreements with professional physician, physician groups, and other allied healthcare providers in the areas of adult & pediatric cardiology, allery and internal medicine, sleep disorders, gastroentrology and digestive medicine, orthopedics, optometry, general/specialty surgery, etc. Contracts will be awarded to those providers who accept as reimbursement in full at the allowable Medicare rates. Multiple awards will be for a base and four, one-year option renewals. The contract provider must meet all the responsibility factors described in the solicitation package. The majority of patients to be served reside within the southwestern region and the IHS prefer that providers are from within the state of New Mexico, Arizona or Colorado, others will be considered based on need, geographical advantage, and other factors. Please refer to RFP 05-03/VZ-AAO when requesting the solicitation package. The RFP IS NOT AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY, EITHER VIA EMAIL OR FACSIMILE. All proposals submitted in response to RFP 05-03/VZ-AAO will be accepted, evaluated and awarded commencing in JUNE 2005 THROUGH MARCH 31,2006.
