- This is an amendment to the original solicitation N68836-05-T-0090 listing questions and answers to several questions received in the past few days. Q & A Q) In Section 4.0, Tasks and Deliverables, you indicated that the contractor should provide personnel who are "knowledgeable of the progress made to date with VSM of the FISC processes". Is this information available in the public domain? A) This information is available onsite. Q) What portion of the LOE is expected to be perform on site in Jacksonville? A) 90% Q) Does the FISC have a specific software program that they favor? A) Currently using basic software such as MS Access, however any future software usage would be mandated by COMFISC (our regional management) Q) What information has been published on TRIM? A) Nothing yet. The TRIM system has not yet been implemented. This is a separate contract. When implemented, the contractor awarded this solicitation will be expected to assist with on-going training and management of the database. Q) Is the P&S database already in existence or is this a database that will be developed and managed by the contractor? A) Already in existence, just needs to be updated/managed Q) Tasks and Deliverables - "knowledgeable of the progress made to date with Value Stream Mapping of FISC processes..." Is there an incumbent? If yes, why are you seeking RFQs? A) There was an incumbent. The contract expired a few weeks ago. Q) Scope – “Assist with implementation of TRIM system.” Please elaborate on the phase of implementation you expect assistance with – documentation, training, deployment, project management, consulting, etc. A) Implementation of the TRIM system was awarded on a different contract. The contractor awarded THIS solicitation will be expected to assist with on-going training and management of the database. Q) Deliverables – “When directed by higher authority, assist FISC Jacksonville with implementation of the TRIM context EDRMS…” This solicitation has a six-month duration, if the latter directive exceeds this time line, how will this deliverable be handled; as extension at no cost or as a modification to the current contract? A) It will be a MOD or a new contract, not an extension. Q) Is the P&S (Products and Services) database Oracle, Sybase, Access, etc.? A) Microsoft Access is currently being used. Q) Is the P&S database web based? A) No Q) Please define POA&M. A) Plan of Action and Milestones Q) Will there be any HUB-Zone set-asides, and/or preferences used for this RFQ? A) This is a small-business set-aside, but not a hub-zone set-aside. We were not aware of two hub-zone businesses to make it such. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-MAR-2005).
