- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of U.S. Naval Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan is soliciting for a time and materials requirements type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Morpac Industries, Inc. for all necessary materials, travel, and technical representative services for the grooming/conditioning of all valves onboard various vessels docked at SRF Yokosuka. Morpac Industries is the OEM for the valves to be groomed. Place of performance is Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan. The contract will include a base period of performance from the date of award through one year thereafter, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 May 2005 with a closing date of 16 June 2005. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured using FAR Part 15. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
