Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE. The Solicitation Number for this announcement is N62467-05-R-0122. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, is currently seeking potential sources for an indefinite quantity facilities support contract, selected services at various locations in all states. The scope of work includes all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services including, but not limited to the following; a. Lithium batteries deactivation and disposal b. Spill clean-up and disposal of contaminated soil (non hazardous) 5-10 cubic yards c. Disposal of oil contaminated bilge water (non hazardous) 55 gallon units d. Clean out of oil water separator e. Clean out wash rack catch basin f. Disposal of Water based paint g. Disposal of Oil Based paint D001 h. Disposal of Contaminated antifreeze i. Other waste disposal requiring specialized handling The indefinite quantity portion for facilities support contract to provide and secure services for miscellaneous clean-up and disposal of waste at unit prices proposed in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work. The 2002 NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection, and the small business size standard is $10.5 Mil. Under FAR guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 20 percent of the contract work with his-or-her own employees. The Government will use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions to solicit this project as either a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a or HubZone Small Business or Unrestricted. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit the market survey following the set format. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. After completing its analysis, the Government will determine whether to limit competition among Service Disabled Veteran, 8a, or HubZone firms or proceed with full and open competition as Unrestricted.
