- The Primary Point of Contact for this project is Arthur G. Tuttlebee, (817) 886-1057, FAX (817) 886-6407 arthur.tuttlebee@swf02.usace.army.mil This will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type Contract to furnish all equipment, personnel, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various paving construction and repair activities at and around Sam Rayburn and Town Bluff L akes, Texas. Work includes preparation of raw subgrade, repair and / or construction of road shoulders; traffic control marking, linear pavement marking, base material installation (density compaction and grading), seal coating, asphalt overlaying and va rious other paving activities. Actual work performed will be authorized by task orders issued independently to the contractor during the term of the contract. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free o f charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5 inch diskette, CD-ROM, and /or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the u se of CD-Rom and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use ONLY the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is, therefore, the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted c hanges to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and amendments from the Internet after solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.swf.usa ce.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp . It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. All Offerors are encouraged to visit the Armys Single Face to Industry website to view other business opportunities. This is an UNRESTRICTED solic itation. Bidders should register at this Internet address to receive a copy of this solicitation (CD-ROM). The Estimated Cost Range is: $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 for the base and four option years. Duration of the contract is from the date of awar d through 365 days with four option periods of 365 days each. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to the project is 237130, Construction Management Firms that corresponds to SIC Code 1661. The Small Business Size S tandard is $28.5 Million. The Solicitation is to be issued on or about 18 May 2005. Bids will be opened on or about 17 June 2005. Bids from all qualified small business concerns are solicited. This is an Unrestricted Invitation for bids.
