- This is a notice of intent to award, on a sole source basis to the lessor?s management group, The Woodmark Companies, of Washington, DC, [Contact: Ms. Michelle Kerns, Senior Property Manager, The Woodmark Companies at 202.638.6672] for commercial items prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures and within the format identified in Subpart 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; the Department of Justice has a need for the replacement [with like kind/quality] of an existing conditioning plant that services the B-1 level computer room of the building located at 555 4th Street, NW, Washington, DC. Additionally, the lessor?s representative shall be required to provide temporary cooling during the replacement project for continuous cooling. This reconfiguration shall require the accessing of the building owner?s electrical, and mechanical plants. In an effort to safeguard the integrity of their building, the owner?s representative will provide a shot list of approved vendors approved to work within their building?s infrastructure. The existing system is failing and in need of immediate modernization. The expected range for these services shall be between $25,000 - $50,000. The provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation?Commercial Items applies. Quotes are not being request and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers.
