- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking businesses who can provide the following services: (1) Delivery of Liquid Nitrogen on an as needed basis as well as on a scheduled delivery basis; (2) Rental of Liquid Nitrogen Tanks; (3) Installation and start-up of Rented Tanks; and (4) Rental of Telemetry Units. SERVICES SHALL BE PROVIDED TO TWO (2) LOCATIONS: National Institute of Standards & Technology Gaithersburg Campus 100 Bureau Drive Gaithersburg, MD 20899 AND National Institute of Standards & Technology Hollings Marine Laboratory 331 Ft. Johnson Rd. Charleston, SC 29412 REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS FOR LIQUID NITROGEN: -Nitrogen Purity 99.98%; -Oxygen, less than 5ppm; -Carbon Monoxide, less than 2 ppm; -Water, less than 0.5 ppm, and dew point 113 degrees F. AND -Nitrogen Purity: 99.998% -Oxygen Content: Less than 1 ppm; -Water Content: Less than 0.5 ppm; -Carbon Monoxide: Less than 1 ppm; -Carbon Dioxide: Less than 1 ppm; -Hydrocarbons: Less than 1 ppm Vendors must submit documentation of their ability to provide all of the products and services described herein meeting all specifications described herein. If vendors can exceed specifications for Liquid Nitrogen, please specify the best possible specifications that can be met. Vendors shall identify their business size, (small, small-disadvantaged, hub-zone, large etc.) in accordance with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325998, Miscellaneous Chemical Product & Preparation Manufacturing; the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. ALL BUSINESS SIZES ARE WELCOME TO RESPOND TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. All documentation must be sent to Carol A.
