Description
This is an amended combined synopsis/solicitation. Please see the ?Note? for changes regarding the trial/adjustment period. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes are due to the 55th Contracting Squadron no later than 4pm (CST) Thursday, 5 May 2004. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail in a Word, Excel, or PDF format to alecia.fay@offutt.af.mil or faxed to (402) 294-7280. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 451140 and small business size standard are is 500 employess. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the items set forth below, subject to the availability of funds. Item 01: New, Paxman French Horn, Model 23LGDT Qty: 1 each Specifications: -Large Bell -Gold Brass -Detachable Bell -Titatium Rotors -Lacquer Finish -Case -Warranty (at least 2 years) Item 02: New, Paxman French Horn, Model 75LGD Qty: 1 each -Full Triple Horn -Gold Brass -Large Bell -Titanium Rotors -Lacquer Finish -Case -Warranty (at least 2 years) Note: For each instrument, an adjustment period of 60-90 days is necessary to allow for a player break-in period and to allow the vendor to customize instruments to the players. During this adjustment period, the customer will be able to send the instrument back to the vendor for minor adjustments to the instruement. All shipping and handling costs will be covered by the government. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (www.ccr.gov) AND HAVE A CURRENT PROFILE IN THE ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS (http://orca.bpn.gov/) PRIOR TO AWARD.
