- Description
- General Services Administration (GSA)/Federal Technology Service (FTS) intends to award a sole source, Open Market task order to NBS Card Technology Corporation (NBS.) The purchase will be made using FAR Part 12. The description of the requirement includes the following: Standard Five (5) Day Coverage On-Call Support (4 hour response time) Monday - Friday 8a.m. to 5p.m. for the Horizon H2 System which includes the High Volume Envelope Inserter (KAS) and CMS 2000. Maintenance also includes 15 Emergency Calls per year. This is for continued support for Fiscal Year 2005. Maintenance coverage will be date of award through one calendar year. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. In order to be considered for this award, offerors shall provide proof that they are authorized by the manufacturer to provide maintenance on the equipment stated above by submitting a capability statement. Please provide the statement via email only to James Julian at james.julian@gsa.gov by 19 May 2005; 4:30 pm Pacific Standard Time. GSA has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors are required to register with CCR, if not already registered in the system. The CCR Handbook, registration process, and any further information can be obtained via the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it a formal Request For Quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. In the absence of responses from firms that believe they have the capability to provide pricing for the requirement above, GSA intends to award the task order to NBS Card Technology Corporation, located at 70 Eisenhower Drive, Paramus, NJ 07652. Footnote: Numbered Note 22 is applicable.
