Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a LCD Monitor to replace the CRT Monitors used on the I-10 Presses and the Nota-Save consoles. Specifications for the monitors are: 19? LCD, XGA TO UXGA 1600X 1200 MAX RESOLUTION, INTERLACED AND NON-INTERLACED SUPPORT, NTSC SECAM, PAL & RS 170 VIDEO INPUTS (HD 15 CONNECTOR), 85 DEGREE VIEWING ANGLE W/ANTIGLARE 2 SIDES, FIELD REPLACEABLE VIDEO CONTROLLER, FIELD REPLACEABLE BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY, FIELD REPLACEABLE POWER SUPPLY, MTBF 50,000 HOURS, CONTROLLER SHALL HAVE SCLLING ON/OFF, PIP, SYNCH ON GREEN, SEPARATE AND COMPOSITE, POWER SUPPLY INPUT RANGE 85-264 VAC. Quantity: 4 ea. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 334419, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-05-0483. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be for best value considering technical ability and price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on May 11, 2005.
