Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subparts 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-05-T-0069 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-11. The solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Terrain Experts, Inc. 4400 East Broadway Blvd, Suite 314, Tucson, Arizona, 85711. Terrain Experts, Inc is the incumbent contractor supplying these services with the software specifications required by other end item/component to support theDART License and Support and Maintenance Service. These items are categorized as software options to an existing DART software license and Support and Maintenance Service for these options, the existing DART license and its options. Terrain Experts, Inc, (dba TERREX) is the manufacturer and sole US sales agent for the Terra Vista family of terrain generation tools, which includes the DART software, and SMS for those tools. Therefore, it would not be feasible to consider another potential supplier. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 511210 with a size standard of $21 Mil. This is a firm fixed price requirement and will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following items are required: CLIN 0001 SAF-OTF (Semi Automated Forces for OneSAF terrain output), CLIN 0002 M1-SAF-OTF (1 Year Support & Maintenance Service ? SAF-OTF), CLIN 0003 SEDRIS-OUT (SEDRIS export module), CLIN 0004 M1-SEDRIS (1 Year Support & Maintenance Service ? SEDRIS-Out), CLIN 0005 M1-DART (1 Year Support & Maintenance Service ? DART) Destription of work: These software options are to be used in research and development as well as for support to the OneSAF development team in testing new data sources. The SAF-OTF module adds OneSAF Terrain Format output capability to DART. SEDRIS-Out adds SEDRIS Transmittal Format (STF) output capability to DART. Terrain Experts warrants for 90 days from the date of purchase, that the media on which the software is delivered will be free from defects, and that the software will function substantially as per the product documentation. For full terms and conditions of the warranty, see the "Terra Vista Software License", which is attached to each official TERREX quotation. Access to software updates or TERREX's technical support resources are guaranteed through the purchase of Support & Maintenance Service contracts on the base license and software options. Delivery shall be made no later than 15 business days after contract award. The following listed clauses may be downloaded from the following website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and 252.2121-7001. The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b) apply: (12). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(c) apply: 52.222.41. The following clauses of DFARS 52.212-7001(b) and (c) apply: None.
