Description

The Bureau of Land Management New Mexico State Office has an upcoming requirement for the mechanical removal of juniper trees on approximately 489 acres in the project site known as the Ojo Saladito. The requirement involves cutting of mature, sapling, and seedling live juniper trees with the exception of designated leave trees. The project is located in the area of Ladron Mountain - Sarca Mesa, New Mexico. Period of performance is 45 days. Performance shall commence immediately after award. Evaluation criteria for consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include a) Technical approach in order to satisfy the government need; b) Price; and c) Past performance in similar or same type of requirement. This is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, small businesses. NAICS is 115310 with a small business size standard of $6M. PSC is F099. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is an announcement for an upcoming solicitation. Request for Quotation GDQ051042 using the procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be issued on or by April 30, 2005. A pre-offer site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 9:00 AM. All prospective offerors are encouraged to attend.
