- Scope of Work Bonnet Carre Spillway Crane refurbishment The contractor shall pick up and return the crane(s) from the Bonnet Carre Spillway. The following work shall be accomplished during the refurbishment: 1. replace sheet metal on crane cab 2. repair boom 3. repair bridle 4. repair bail 5. replace cables 6. rebuild all shafts 7. replace engine water pump 8. repair radiator 9. install high amperage alternator 10. reseal center swivel 11. repair engine clutch Note: Base Crane = Linkbelt TC 48A, Stock Number 094343, and MS# 3AT-669 (east crane) Optional Crane = Linkbelt TC 48A, Stock Number 094342, and MS# 3AT-670 (west crane) A site visit is required to submit bid. After work is completed on each crane, the crane shall be weighed. Cranes will be removed from the site and repaired one at a time. OSHA requirements apply and Accident Prevention Plan required.
