- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation is 100% set aside under NAICS 332439. Contract type for this award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract FFP. The Maine Army National Guard is interested in purchasing seventeen NEW, Dry Frieght Containers, NSN 8145-01-480-6877. They mus t be ISO Certified and have a CSC Certification plate attached. Color: Olive Drab or Gray, Dimentions; 20'L x 8'W x 8'6 inches H, Full 2 Doors on one ened steel, 1-1/8 inches thick marine wood floors, forklift tested to 16,000 lbs per 44 square inch, Front corner post tie downs for a total of 10. Under DFARS 252.225-7017, Prohibition on award a contract if the end product comes from Peoples Republic of China or The Peoples Liberation Army of the People'sRepublic of China. Under FAR 52.225-6 - Trade Agreem ent Certificate - Please list the country of origin for the end product all apply this solicition. IAW FAR Part 25, China is not a qualifying country nor the material the Freight Containers are made of steel is a nonavailable item for excemption to purchas e. The Government reserves the right to unilaterally increase or decrease the approximate quantity for award. Additional containers may be ordered based on available of funding. Delivery will be made to USPFO Warehouse, Building #14, Camp Keyes, Augusta, Maine 04333-0032. The Government will evaluation each proprosal for the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible, responsive offeror who demostrates compliance with the requirements of this solicitation and all referred clauses.
