- NOUN: Cable Assy; NSN: 2915-01-439-2368NZ; PN: 4082793-01; QTY: 33; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: Beginning January 2006 to Foreign Destination; APPLICABLE TO: F100 PW ENGINES; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: outer tube is approx 36 inches diameter, inner tube is approx 34 inches diameter. Assembly overall height is approx 4 inches and overall length is approx 38 inches; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: AMS 5586 (WASPALOY) ; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Spray rings distribute and atomize fuel flow into core engine and fan exhaust streams providing optimum fuel/air distribution and combustion during augmentation. Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: 16 May 2005; Anticipated Award Date: 30 June 2005. No telephone solicitation requests well be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings will not be provided with the solicitation. Data must be obtained from https://www.fedteds.gov. Due to approval requirements, it is not anticipated that a formal solicitation will be issued, however, if a potential source wishes to have a formal solicitation, one will be supplied. The award is expected to be made to approved sources. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
