- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to solicit competitive proposals for assembly/testing of electronic units for the SEAL Delivery Vehicle (SDV). The proposals will be for the fabrication/assembly of 3 separate assemblies to be installed in separate Government Furnished aluminum housings less then 2 cu-ft in size. The three assemblies are: 20 each Control Display Units, 10 each SOMSC Units, and 10 each Radio & Amp units. The Government will furnish the aluminum underwater housings/lids and mechanical components required for assembly. The contractor will provide remaining electronic & commercial components, materials and labor to assemble and test each unit. A first article unit for each item will be delivered to the Government 4 months after award. The remaining units will be delivered to the Government 8 months after award in specified increments. Equipment will be delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Panama City, 110 Vernon A! venue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. The solicitation will contain drawings that can only be sent to firms certificated by the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) for receipt of military critical technical data.
