- Description
- The Department of Commerce (DOC) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)Office of Finance and Administration (OFA), Office of Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Logistics Staff, Document Management Branch (DMB)is seeking contractor support to provide necessary personnel, maintenance and related facilities management support which encompasses: mailroom services, courier/shuttle services, distribution services, locator/distribution database services, and duplicating services. This is a Performance Based Services procurement that is a 100% Small Business Set Aside limited to eligible 8(a) certified firms. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 561210. The size standard is $30 million. The acquisition method will be source selection procedures with an award based on the best value concept. Prospective 8(a) firms will be required to submit separate technical and price proposals. The period of performance consists of a base period of twelve months with the possibility of four twelve month option periods). The anticipated start date is March 31, 2005. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The solicitation will is estimated to be issued on or about January 31, 2005. A site visit will be scheduled for prospective offerors to view the facilities involved after the solicitation is issued. Prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr.gov.
