Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Hydrological Instrumentation Facility in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi intends to make award on a sole source basis to YSI of Yellow Springs, Ohio. The Hydrological Instrumentation Facility (HIF) has a requirement to test, warehouse and sell water quality monitoring systems, probes and spare parts for immediate commercial resale or rental to its customers. The HIF routinely stocks a multitude of instruments which are supplied by a number of different manufactures. This award will allow the HIF to restock its warehouse with YSI brand equipment. The HIF's customer base determines the demand for equipment purchased. The anticipated award date is 05/03/2005 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 334513.
