- Description
- The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command intends to negotiate a 90 day sole source contract with The Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Rockville, MD. The Joint Vaccine Acquisition Program and Medical Identification and Treatment Systems require spe cialized development of drugs and vaccines through a cost and event discipline life-cycle acquisition process. This process is needed until 15 August 2005. This contract shall be issued using other than full and open competition procedures in accordance wi th FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Henry M. Jackson can immediately provide a highly skilled contractor with current specialized knowledge to oversee the development, deployment, and mangement of bio-defense vaccines. This is not a request for competitive proposals but parties purporting to have the requisite credentials to perform these services must furnish in writing, factual information, which clearly supports and demonstrates evidence of such abilities.
