- Description
- This synopsis amends synopsis issued 26 April 2005. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, material and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the construction of new and repair or replacement of existin g concrete pavements, slabs, ramps and any associated pavement work at the Wheeler-Sack Airfield located at Fort Drum, NY. Principal features include, but are not limited to, excavation, removal, disposal and replacement of concrete slab, excavation, remo val and disposal of earth, surface materials and asphalt concrete or stone aggregate case, backfill, roll and compact stone aggregate, saw cutting existing concrete, and repair of damaged spall areas, cracks and joints. Some tasks may be performed under e mergency or cold weather conditions. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The performance period for this contract is base year plus two option years. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements construction contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone Small Business Concerns under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about Ma y 16, 2005. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drums Web Page. All responsible HUBZone small business concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidders Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page at http://www.drum.army.mil/sites/directorates/doc-solicitations.asp No hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
