Description
This is a Request for Information only. The Government is trying to find vendors that currently have the capability to provide the services and supplies listed in the below description: Tent set rental for one month. Tent is setup by the contractor so it is available for the Governments use NLT 1 JUNE 2005 and returned to the vendor approximately 3 weeks later with the Government having the option to extend 3 more weeks (one week at a t ime). Tent set includes lighting system to adequately light the tent during hours of darkness, temporary or permanent electrical outlets to plug in commercial grade fans, two refrigerators, and AM/FM radios and other small appliances. Set also includes v entilation (HVAC) system to cool the tent to keep temperature below 75 degrees from the ground up to eight (8) feet above the ground, inside when tent is fully enclosed (doors and windows closed ). Adequate power generation to power the HVAC, lights, and electrical outs. Tent shall be approximately 100 Wide x 295 Long x 20 Tall (height can be taller, this is a minimum height), enclosed, with at least one large door measuring at least 15 x 15 (minimum size) one each wide side of the ten, at least two per sonnel entrance doors on each side (long side of tent). While width (100), height (20) and door (15 x 15) dimensions are absolute requirements, the Government will entertain alternative proposals for other dimensions of the tents. Tent should be set up by the contractor at the Port of Beaumont and temporarily secured to the ground to prevent movement during adverse weather (thunderstorms and associated winds that common at Beaumont Texas during the month of June). Tent must be capable of protecting p ersonnel and equipment from the elements. If tent is staked to the ground or fastened to concrete or black-top the contractor is required to repair those surfaces. Over head sun protection (shade) and adequate mosquito netting to enclose an area large enough to protect five (5) standard picnic tables and the personnel using them from the sun and bugs. Shade protection shall be adequate enough to allow the use of all tables with out personnel sitting in the sun. This overhead and bug protection should be set up by the contractor at the Port of Beaumont and temporarily secured to the ground to prevent movement during adverse weather (thunderstorms and associated winds that common at Beaumont Texas during the month of June). If this system is staked to the ground or fastened to concrete or black-top the contractor is required to repair those surfaces.
