- 542d CSW intends to purchase engineering services applicable to the AAR-47 Missile Warning System. The purpose of this effort is to support field testing on aircraft identified by the 54d CSW. This field support shall include the operation and maintenance of AN/AAR-47 MWS Aircraft Data Recorders, MDAP 32 stimulation systems and any other test instrumentation. Period of performance is one year. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation, CAGE code 1FEZ4, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Late responses will not be accepted. Place of performance: White Sands Missile Range and the contractor's facility. Classified - security clearance required. See notes 22 & 26. Anticipated issue date is June 2005.
