Description

The objective of this work is for the contractor to transport, install and assemble the Trapper Creek Trail Bridge located on the Deschutes National Forest for the Crescent Ranger District. This Government-Furnished timber bridge kit (includes superstructure, deck, railing and all associated hardware). This material is to be transported to Odell Lake near the mouth of Trapper Creek. Installation of the bridge will also involve construction of two concrete abutments along with timber stairways and handrails at both approaches. A site visit has been scheduled for May 10, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Crescent Ranger District, 133301 Hwy 97, Crescent Oregon. If you plan on attending the site visit, please notify the Contracting Officer, Maria Gonzalez by Email: mgonzalez@fs.fed.us. Solicitation packages will be available for free download at www.fedbizopps.gov. The anticipated issuance date of the solicitation is May 12, 2005, with Quotes due C.O.B. May 26, 2005. Estimated start work date is June 30, 2005.
