- MODIFIED: This acquisition is for 151,500,000 liters of gasoline (EN 228), 13,600,000 liters of automotive diesel (EN 590), 239,000 liters of 10W-50 motor oil, and 699,000 liters of 10W-40 motor oil. MODIFIED: Response date 03 June 2005 This is a multi-year (36 month) program to supply petroleum products throughout Italy, Sicily, Sardinia and other islands. The program permits NEX/AAFES customers to purchase coupons that are redeemed at commercial service stations for the purchase of tax free products. VERY IMPORTANT: All offerors must be licensed by the Italian Government to do business within the mainland of Italy and/or the regional islands of Sardinia and Sicily. DESC anticipates award to multiple-sources to maximize service station coverage. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment. Each contract minimum will be 1% of the total solicited estimated quantity. The program is administered by DESC-PEC. Special administration for obtaining tax-free product purchase is handled by the NSA (Naval Support Activity) in Naples, Italy.
