- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 – THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for the removal of approximately 3,641 existing carpet and foam padding. A dumpster will be available for the disposal of all debris. The installation of approximately 3,641 square feet of Acryloflex, and acrylic impregnated oak plank (or comparable) to be installed over existing AirBase 200 sub-floor. Install one-fourth inch plywood between sub-floor and top surface. Additionally, install new vented baseboard molding. Flooring will be installed at Patrick AFB, FL building 545, second floor aerobics room. The anticipated award date is 29 April 2005. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance/expected delivery date is four weeks from the issuance/award of contract. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-05-C-0061 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5211, business size of $12M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238330. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11April 2005 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-2706), or e-mail.
