- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to acquire seven (7) each V/UHF/L Band Tunable Antennas, Chelton Inc. P/N 12-190-310, for use on aircraft. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin by the Government. All items shall be delivered to the Technology Applications Program Office, Logistics Division, 401 Lee Blvd, Fort Eustis, VA 23604. Required delivery is 20 weeks after order date. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin by the Government. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1. This RFQ does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source is Chelton Inc., Lewisville, TX. Technical data (engineering drawings and/or specifications) is not available. Use of an alternate system is unacceptable due to the extensive testing required. Only Chelton Inc. has the capability to provide this item within the required delivery time. Proposals must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn.: AMSAT-D-TK, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, no later than 4:00 PM local time on 13 May 2005. Emailed or faxed proposals are acceptable. Offerors shall submit firm fixed price proposals only. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered, however Chelton Inc. is the intended source. Numbered Note 22 applies.
